It looks like CCM has to or will have to stay silent on this. But their tillers of CCM still look like Italy country of origin because they look quality products. Maybe, CCM tillers are imported from Italy to Turkey and only painting made in Turkey before exporting to the US? Who knows, anything possible. By the way, in one of link given by BigDave above, it's said that FC had enjoyed the beautiful country in Turkey a month ago? I really feel that CCM and FC are somehow collobrating each other indirectly in the business. Sweet collobration in the competition, isn't it?;]

CCM uses a global manufacturing processes just as John Deere, New Holland and other MFG's do. We assemble and MFG implements in the USA and in foreign countries. All you have to know is "If a product comes with the CCM label, it has a "Satisfaction Guarantee". If a product does not do what we say it will do, CCM will buy it back. CCM does at times import products for other MFG's and distributors that do NOT carry this "Satisfaction Guarantee". Some distributors want "PRICE ONLY" items. We do not sell these lower quality items under the CCM name because they do not meet the high quality standards of CCM products. We do not even sell the non-CCM products, that we may import for a vendor, in our retail stores or sell these products wholesale to dealers because of the high quality standards CCM has for their products. Every CCM product by law has the country of origin label on it.

I don't particularly care what is the country of origin of particular attachment, I was just curious about the manufacturer. I enjoy visiting the manufacturer's website no matter what language it is uses. I even managed to get an account & password from Celli (tiller company) even though the site is in Italian - a language I cannot read, but translators are available on the web.

I was sold on CCM's specs & price at first, but it was Mark's unwillingness to divulge any information about the origin of his tillers that soured the deal for me. A simple Hisarlar, Ortolan, Yudasar, Fimaks type of answer from Mark, and I would have forked over a grand this past spring. I was shocked to find out that the country of origin was even treated as a mystery.
