Yippee! Waiting for the pics.

Oh and as a sidenote. Us engineers get a little funny about people "pouring" cement since the slab of powder isn't a good place to park for fear the powder might get wet and your tractor will be stuck.

Yeah, I checked your post earlier and was disappointed to find no pics. I'm sure however that along with the "cement" you added a little sand and water. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Hopefully you've been watching the "Mash" reruns, and know how to mix them in the right amounts...

BTW, you are now on my S*** list! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
There's nothing I'd like more than a heated garage to work on things... I'd be there now if I had one.

Why are they called "cement trucks" then and not "concrete trucks"?

They're called "cement mixers", since they mix the aggregate and water with the cement.

Cement is only an ingredient of CONCRETE.

Johnny,

That is great. You will love the space for working. We will look forward to seeing your pictures as you progress.

As far as the others stealing your thread I wouldn't worry much about it. I am suer most understood what you said. Your fairly new here and I want to say welcome to TBN.

Johnny,
That's great news and I'm jealous of your progress. I'd like to see some pics when you get a chance.

I'm still working in the "Great Outdoors" (not so great sometimes), but I did get a canopy to keep from getting drenched. However, there is a small river running through it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You guys are always a stickler for details. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Many years ago I was chastised for a QC report that indicated we poured concrete, I was told we "placed" the concrete.

Now if I could only find a "Hot Water Heater"
