CFO Says it\'s a 3130 !

Got what I think is a good price on a B2910 and an L3130 . Took the better half down to look and sit on both machines .
I'd have sworn she'd have liked the 2910 better . She's about 4'11" standind as straight as she can ! . She looks over both machines and says" in a year or two You'll be looking a something bigger than this ( meaning the 2910 ). Naturally I push my luck and turn to look at the 3430 behind me . Well after being married for 25+ years , I can <font color="red"> </font> FEEL the stare . So , I just turn around and ask her if she really likes the 3130 /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
So, it looks like that's that!
Now for the hard part . Signing on the Dotted line , Waiting for it to come in , and finding a wife proof ignition key .
This has been quite a jouirney! the good thing is I expect the best part of it is yet to come . John

Interesting thing about wives, they're generally smarter than we give them credit for! That and the fact that they think tractors are sexy! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I love my L3130 (and my wife too) - I'm sure you'll love yours as well!

Funny thing with my dealer...can't remember the first time, probably the same... But I did not sign anything at all except for a credit application...signed all the papers after the BX2200 was sitting on the ground in my driveway.

I guess that is the way this dealer does business...

My wife and I have been married 17 years now(exactly 1/2 as many years as my boss) and she said nearly the exact same thing.

The owner of the company where I bought my L3010 said the same thing as well.

Bottom line is I think it is better on my bottom...!

My wife liked the larger L3130 tractor vs 2910 etc.. and eyeballed me on the bigger as well...LOL!

well, the deal's as good as done . Provided I can get my schedule aligned with the dealers . We're both running about like scalded Cats these days .
Also if I might ask one question .... What is the tire size for the R4's ? My dealer says that tire chains are not needed, But He won't be on it when it starts to slide . So I'm going to order a set of Dual grips (sp / ) online . I just need to know what size to order for the R4's .

My wife always says "get what you need" so, I bought a 5030. We had a 3710 and it was big enough for about 85% of what we do around here (haying), but when I needed a bigger tractor, I had to use one of our really big Deeres (uch!!). When the new L series came out I was contemplating a NH Boomer, the biggest one, I think 45 horse?. My problem was that after the 3710, I said that any new tractor I bought would have a cab/air/stereo and a cushy seat as well as being light weight and agile (which the Deeres aren't). I waited almost a year for NH to put a cab on their big Boomer. Kubota beat them to the punch and due to the fact that I have had 3 other kubota's, I went right down and bought one. I think if I read the serial number right, I have the 28th 5030HSTC made. My only complaint on the 5030 is that it's naturally aspirated. I just love turbocharger whine!!
