CG2610 won't start, stater just spins

No word back from Charlie at Northwood power as of yet. Guess I need to just order the gear and give it a try. I got the gear out last night so that I could confrim the measurements with a Denso dealer. I'll keep you all posted...

Rebuilt went without a hitch Got to install it on Sunday, started better than it ever has:thumbsup: Doug a couple of small stumps, need to make a ripper tooth Stalled it once, not enough RPM's:ashamed: But started right back up:laughing: Now if it will do as well when it's cold....Thanks for all the input:thumbsup:

Did you end up just replacing that ring gear, or was there more? How much was it? Did you get it through Northwood?

I just replaced the gear. I bought two of them just in case, the cost was $47.32 total with shipping. The Denso part number is ND028635-5010, I got them from Tridiode, the owner Wayne was great to work with.:thumbsup::thumbsup: Never heard back from Northwood
