My helper left my harrow like this a few months ago. He does not know how to straighten it out or how to keep it from doing this. I am a very senior lady, I use my tractor for mowing and sometime a little dirt work but have to hire most everything. I'd like him to use this harrow to save time. I have a L2600 Kobota with a FEL. I'd appreciate some kind instructions on how to fix this situation. I took the photo's today.

Mine used to get like that and about all I ever did was begin at one bottom most corner and end at the top.
From what I can tell from your pic, it looks like the upper left corner needs to stay attached into that upper corner slot.
If it gets straightened out, somehow, {Like coming too close to a fence post or tree root} they'll slide together and make that kind of ratz nest.
It's fiddly work and slow going but the links need to be separated one by one.
Somewhgere in the midst of all that mess is probably some baling twine or a piece of wire that began all that sadness.

Your CL harrow looks almost as forlorn as mine. I found a ratz nest of old nasty barbed wire with mine. Before I could stop this conflagration - all the chain link balled up in one upper corner with the barbed wire.
Time, patience, good set of gloves and maybe a sharp pair of wire cutters - if you have other wire in that mess also.
Everything not OEM needs to be cleaned out - the upper row of chain needs to be stretched and reattached to the pipe - the following chain needs to be stretched to its original shape.
