Chain tensioners - suggestions

I bought a pair of spring tensioners for my truck chains from Tirechains.com and they were Chinese also. The springs had no temper in them. Stretch then out and they just stayed that way. Threw them away in discust and went with black rubber bungies.

Now THAT's interesting.

OK - I'm just about sold on not using spring tensioners. I don't use them on my lawn tractor, and it wears 2-link chains all year around. In the event that I do want to put something on the chains, where does one find those (made is USA) rubber straps?
