There are several carriers made for ATV's that seem as though they could be adapted. Montana Jacks has a nice looking unit.

Myself, I'm looking to mount behind the loader upright to keep it protected a bit better.

Ultra High Molecular Weight. A type of nylon/plastic. Very 'slickery'. Hard to wear down. Makes for neat glide pads for drawers and furniture and such. It's also pretty hard to compress and makes for good spacers in certain applications. Available in sheet or tube/cylinder.

Mike, mrcaptainbob-beat me to getting you answered. It's a poly like usually milky white plastic compound used a great deal in manufacturing. Simular to nitrile, nylatron-it is used as slide plates, chain tensioners, guides, or spacers. It machines very well and is esay to cut. If Mrs. Mike has a cutting board on the kitchen counter, it is possibly UMHW. Its soft but very tough and it won't hurt the teeth on the chain saw. Hope this helps. I use a 1/2" X 6" X 12" piece to fillet fish on, works great and doesn't harm the knife blade.

Thank's to Bob & Bill for the heads up. I really do learn something new every day, even if it hurts to do so........

Y'all sure spend a lot of money. My rearview mirrow wasn't mounted in an advantageous spot, so I took the mirror off, and slid the top bar of the saw over the upright, that held it. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

We used to call it "poor man's teflon"

The loader attachment on my Massey has a horizontal support made out of rectangular tubing (sort of, it’s open along the inside but it is closed more than regular C-channel) On one side the lines to the joystick run inside that tubing; on the other my saw’s bar fits perfectly. I slide it in, wrap a bungee around the saw’s handle and the loader upright (overkill really as it doesn’t move much without it). The downside is it takes up a little floor space near the platform step/entrance so I wouldn’t want it here all the time. In my case most of my property is field so I only use my saw occasionally now…

Maybe a person could adapt one of those used on atv's??
I don't know one specifically but tripped on a bunch of them back when my Kawasaki Prairie 650 was on the front burner.
Just look up atv accessories websites.
Now the Kioti's on the front burner...lol
I have too many toys
