I agree. You can understand it and still screw up. AC Electricity isn't a one way thing. It's just a system of conductors. They will work the same going either way. Same with breakers and fuses. They will work the same fed both ways. So, you can stick your generator output into your kitchen range receptacle, or dryer receptacle.
JUST MAKE SURE, your MAIN SWITCH is shut off, and anything in your system totaled up that your generator can't handle for load, is shut off.
