I don't understand your new search device, If I type kioti in the the title of the search I don't expect to find posts on Cases or JD or farmalls. They might be fine tractors but I need to know about my oil gage not theirs. Seems like putting quotes or kioti in the search string should keep the post in this forum. What am I missing? I was trying to find out if I should see oil about half way up the little window. Or just to the btm or all the way to top? THere are pics of the guage with a bad camera from too far away but not a word about what excatly is supposed to be the upper level mark on the gage. Obviously my attempts at using search device were not successful.

To answer your Question. As a rule of thumb if you have a "window" the oil, when 'full' will be in the middle of a round window, if it a vertical oblong window and there are no marks then it is full at the top 2/3 or 3/4.

That's what I'm seeing but oil light stays on and there is nothing or a tiny part of a corner on the dipstick. I know there are six plus quatrs in there. Can I move to turn it around? Maybe two minutes of motor run. I think the oil is not at the level it should be in the oil pan because the back end is lower than the front end. Can someone comment on my thinking please?

If you go to the Kioti forum and click on "Search Forum" that will limit you to only results for posts in that forum. Under the advanced search (ie: Search Forums - TractorByNet.com ) you can choose more than one forum from the list of forums by using your Ctrl key.
As for a general search of all forums (ie, from: Search Forums - TractorByNet.com ), Searching 101 says that if you search for "Kioti Oil" (without the quotes) the ONLY thing that the search is looking for is the words Kioti and Oil in the same thread. If you search for "Kioti Oil" (with quotes) it will look for those words in the same thread one after the other.

As for your question, I would stick a longer piece of wire down to see how much below the dipstick the oil level is. I would also try unplugging the wire from the oil pressure sensor and seeing if the light stays on. If it does, you have a problem with the wire.
I might also hook up an mechanical oil gauge to see what you actually have for pressure (I hate idiot lights).
