Fall is coming. Some like to live in places that is summer all year round. Not for me. Winter can be a bit ruff n' tuff around here. I don't want to mow grass all year and I don't want to push snow all year. So a little of both here in Ohio. I do enjoy the change of seasons. There is good in all of them.

Just as winters can be a "little rough" there, summers are likewise rough here in SC. My ideal seasonal environment would be what we have here from Sept thru May, just make it year round. I actually prefer winter over summer as it just doesn't get very cold here, certainly not for very long.

I am with you. In Virginia, and we are not that far south, just barely under Mason - Dixie, summer for me is the season to survive and the rest to enjoy.

In my part of the world we don't fit the "4 seasons" too well. Winter lasts about 4-6 weeks usually and is dry. Then its warm to hot but dry until the wet season starts, usually in october but it can come early or late.

The wet ends about april usually and then its dry until october rolls around again.

Love winter up here, but the older the bones get the harder it is on them. Still like the change of seasons though, but hate the increase in taxes :)

The 3 H's sure help the corn grow last couple of weeks, but it's been one damp summer...by the looks we could have taste of pre autumn come end of the week. :)
