Change oil filters

I have an Rural King RK24 tractor an its time for the first 50 hour oil change. Is there a conversion oil filter that I can buy? I can't find the filter number from Rural King. Thanks

Many auto parts stores have cross references for oil filters. You might also try to find out who made the tractor. Rural King doesn't manufacture tractors. According to Tractor Data that particular tractor was made by the TYM company. If you find the specific engine in a TYM tractor that should solve your problem. Funny how that works you buy a tractor from rural king and you cannot find a oil filter number.Good luck with future maintenance.

Many years at ago I had a friend that bought a new tractor from Northern Tool. Although it came with a new oil filter as spare parts he could not find a replacement locally. I ended up machining a metric threaded adapter plate that screwed into the engine block and it would accept a generic Chevy oil filter cartridge.

Hopefully Spike will find the right filter.

I'd buy their parts until you are out of warranty so they can't claim you didn't use recommended parts in the event you need expensive warranty service. I'd also recommend keeping receipts for the oil/filters so you can help prove you did the service.

Here are the current numbers after buying filters and tran/hyd oil at Rural King:

Hyd Filter:
(Filter is inside the frame ahead of the right rear tire.)
RK # 212160308 on RK receipt & TYM # 11102303100 on filter
Hyd Fluid:
# 3261930 on my receipt.
RK recommends using Harvest King Universal Trans/Hyd fluid for the RK24
Oil Filter:
TYM # 11930535150


Also you can use BALDWIN B1400
