Changed oil seal front axle where does circlip go

Hi have new holland 1920 replaced oil seal fine. Did not see circlip SBA398340300 when i took it apart. Have ordered but unsure where it goes.Also does it hold front drive shaft in place. Thanks in advance

ask your local NH dealer but I suspect the retainer clip retains the outboard bearing and should be between the bearing and the seal. On both my Kubota's the front half shafts aren't retained by anything other than the interference fit between the outboard planetary and the inboard ring gear assembly, they float in place, in splined carriers.
