But, start the tractor with the throttle at least half throttle as if there is some air, it will stumble, but won’t die.Just turn off tank line. Remove filter. Fill new filter. Install. Turn tank valve on. Start tractor. We have a 4630 set up that way. Injection pump and lines will still have fuel. So it will start up.
Also, typical of all the straddle mount Ford 3 cylinder tractors, if you have less than 1/4 tank of fuel and have to bleed, it will be harder.
