B2620 owners that have serviced their own transmission - In addition to the spin on HST filter have you found a suction debris screen or magnetic plug that needs to be cleaned? Also how many drain plugs did you find? My manual is very unclear about all this with really lousy pictures too.

I did this last year, so I'll try to remember. I don't think the 2620 has a screen like my BX did-and I don't remember a plug. I think there were two drain plugs. Sorry I don't recall better.

My B2620 has no screen. The transmission proper has two drain plugs that are located at the lowest point, one on each side....12mm. Then there is a third plug at the left side of the mid-PTO that is 17mm. That's what my notes say in my owner's manual. And "yes", the manual was vague to me also. After entering as similar question here on TBN, a member ....John Thomas....suggested painting those drain bolt heads so they will be easy to find the next time......Kubota Orange of course.

I agree with "oldballs" that there are three drain plugs plus two filters. I could not find any screens like the BX had. I am thinking that the older 26's might have used a different tranny that had a screen. When I changed out my fluid and filters there was NO bits of metal in evidence.
