I'm getting ready to install a new loader hydralic control valve assembly on my Ford 1700 tractor. I was wondering if there are any tricks to changing this valve assembly or do you just disconnect the lines and install it on the new valve assembly?
Do you have to bleed the system and if so where do you bleed the air out?

Thanks for your input.....

The only "trick" is getting all the fittings to change over without the need for adapters or getting new hoses made. There are so many styles and sizes it can be daunting for a beginner.

There is no need to bleed anything, just hook it all up and start moving the joystick-the air will self purge after a few strokes.
