Sorry for the previous post's mistake. It's been a long day!

I have an old FI-3106 Campbell Hausfeld air compressor and cannot find any info on the net for changing the oil and I don't have a manual for it. Anyone out there have an oldie like this?

Mine is about 20 (edited) years old. I just recently drained the oil for the first time, and added new oil. Just a pipe plug, and added compressor oil found at the store. Also changed the air filters.

How old are you talking? And do you need info on the location of the drain plug?

Charlie, I responded in the other thread before I saw this one. Just for your information, you can "edit" you own posts within a few hours of posting a message. That's simpler than starting a whole new thread. And if you can't "edit" your post, then "reply" to you own post and that keeps everything together.

As the other poster said.. Just get some Ch ( if you prefer) compressor oil, and drain the old stuff and add the new.

We had a ch compressor in our shop that ran 21 years befroe we replaced it with a new ch unit. The old compressor still works.. but motor was shot. Was less than 100$ more to get the whole new compressor vs a 5hp motor for the old unit.. go figure..
