Changing R1 to R4

I went with R4s because I mow around a lot of mesquite and some honey locust. Put 3 gallons of TRC6 ( TRC6 Texas Refinery Tire Sealant - 6 Gal Container ) in each front tire and 6 gallons in each rear. My tires are full of thorns broke off but far as I know only one punctured all the way through. When I pulled it out a tiny drop of pink stuff came out but no air. A coworker put the same TRC6 in his R1 tires but they are too thin and air will leak out eventually, according to him.
Edit: Had to change RBC6 to TRC6, was thinking about UPS batteries. My apologies for any confusion.
