Changing Usernames

Can a registered user change their username without losing "credit" for their past posts? It's just that over the past few weeks of spending time on TBN, I've seen more interesting usernames, and wish I had not gone with such a generic!

Muhammad might be able to help you do this. I just changed mine recently, and went from "Veteran User" to "New User." /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif I felt this was okay, because I'm by no means a veteran tractor user.. I just posted a lot of questions when I first joined up. My new level more accurately reflects my level of expertise.. although even now "Bronze" seems a bit too high for me. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Yeah, I know. Everyone reassured me that it just meant you were a veteran (or whatever) of this forum, but I've always hated titles of any kind. I detest being called Mr., for example. Just weird that way. If only there were an option here to turn off this stuff.

I may go to unregistered posting, which does circumvent the problem but creates a few others..
