Just curious why you would intentionally remove the label?

Because I don't like labels?

I've removed ALL of the stupid labels plastered all over my tractor when new. They piss me off - mandated safety labels warning me that if I'm stupid I might hurt myself, or implying that I can't remember from one day to the next what the function of some part or another is for.

I haven't had a babysitter in over fifty years and left California nine years ago partly to get away from regulatory safekeeping and a state more worried about my personal welfare than it thought I could possibly be.

Rant over, and I hope that I've answered your question. ....:)

(ps: I had a hard time believing my eyes when reading the yellow page portion of the owners manual that stipulated that should any of the various warning labels, all carefully listed and shown in those pages, be damaged or missing I must immediately be off to the authorized dealer to obtain (at my cost) a replacement to install before again operating the tractor. Is that for real?)

Srossman -

I've just started using Picasa Albums, and like the convenience. However, I'm still unsure of what the recipient actually sees. That is, when I click on the link I have posted, I get the actual website and can see all the photos, change settings, etc. I think others see only the picture, but am not sure.

I have used Picasa on my computer for a long time and think it is an excellent program. I like the convenience of it being linked to Picasa Albums. Just not sure how it all works yet. I did find a way to insert the actual picture from the Album into a post instead of a link, but this forum seems to use links more.
I just started using Picassa for my pic management and was going to start posting some pictures on the web but haven't tried it yet. Thanks for the insight.
Your right about the links. What a some people do is post small pictures in the email with a link to the larger picture. If you look at posts by Timber or 3rrl you will see what I mean.

The only thing worse then the labels is the gum left behind after peeling them off. Goo-Gone to the rescue.

Yes indeed... sorry about whatever trauma you have suffered that would cause you to overreact to such a degree toward innocent labels. I'm with you on the stupid safety ones (but they're not bothering me)... some of the labels are useful though, especially for others who might use my tractor infrequently. If you ever sell it, you might get some frowns as a result. Did you peel off serial numbers as well ??!

I'm with you on the yellow pages of the manual... welcome to the litigious society we live in. You can bet if there's a safety warning for it, some moron has or will actually do it and then try to bring a $multi-million lawsuit over it. Kubota sent me some "extra" safety labels for the cruise control which are still in the envelope whose whereabouts to me are completely unknown at the moment.
