My wife bought me the heritage rough rider a few years ago. It's a nice shooting little pistol, and so far it's been really reliable. Wife bought it because she got tired of me using the shot gun for small varmints 
That being said, I usually stay away from bargain guns. My step dad bought my brother and I each a bargain single shot 12 gauge shot gun from Montgomery ward. Think he paid 80$ each back in the mid 80's. Guns worked good for around 50 rounds. Then would occasionally go off by themselves, when loading them They ended up getting cut up for scrap when my brother took out one of the tires on the car while loading it

$149 is a nice price on the Pietta 1851 Navy. Plus, the price is good all week. You don't have to fight a crowd on Friday morning. I paid more than that for mine used, though it had a nice leather holster. I wish I had a second cylinder, which is how you reload a cap and ball.
