There was a Day 18, but it was not very productive and visual. It was more planning and trying to figure out how to run PEX lines and move some electrical as well.

My first experience with Pex was when I purchased a foreclosure home with a crawl space. The house hadn’t been winterized, when I turned the water on it looked like a sprinkler system going off in the crawl space, too many burst copper spots for it to be worth repairing. I took out all of the copper and reinstalled Pex, I was really impressed with the ease of install. It was a bit of money for the crimping tool and a bit to learn/research, but it was the right way to go. I’m a firm believer in using Pex.

Pex is the way to go, I'll take it over anything in residential

I am amazed at the out of stock items at Lowe’s and HD. I finally found some 3/4” rings. They were nonexistent at 4 other box stores in Richmond.

I’m in the middle of one of my house flips, I’ve run up against no 1/2” drywall, no Base trim, and no pedestal sink in stock over the last week. Unfortunately these days if I need something for an upcoming project and I see materials in stock, I had better go ahead and purchase them. Materials are coming in, it’s just that they sell out quickly.
I ordered replacement windows last week, 12 weeks for expected delivery.

I am doing the same. The only item I just cannot afford today but would love to get my hands on is the multi-zone Mini Split. I know it is going up in cost and maybe availability.
