I agree about not using a paper towel to clean eyeglasses. I mentioned this to my wife once. I got the female equivalent of "Yes Dear"

One small aspect of a happy marriage is knowing when to leave well enough alone ;)

I kinda look at that like this. sure.. the paper towell will slowly wear the eyeglasses. but I get a new pair sometimes 1x per year if rough ont hem.. sometimes per 2 year. .. then I rotate the old pair as my work glasses. at that rate of turnover.. a paper towell ain't gonna hurt them.

next yer gonna be tellin me not to dig in my ear with my truck key.. Sheesh.. you sound like my wife ;) ;) :)

I try to make my shop towels and plastic containers last as long as possible. I have tin cans that are way older than the internet.Forgot and wiped my face with a grease rag one time:laughing:

I always cut the cords off old electrical things, bet I have near a hundred of em in a crate.

And for the life of me, I don't know why I have kept old spark plugs and wires and old tractor brake discs that I changed in 1980!!

I can't believe a thread about reusing paper towels has gone to 5 pages...:confused2:
