Well, we got some snow last night.... about a half inch! Ha!!!

It stuck to the streets but sank right through the grass. Pretty lame winter here, so far. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Yup. On top of my 1/2 mile or so of driveways I've lined up a $20.00 job. Let the good times roll!!

Our 12 - 24 inches has turned to freezing rain on about 4 inches of snow. I don't think I'll plow until it stops.

Chains are on,

Yep: We got over 2", and then a day of rain showers, but plenty of slush still left when the party started at my house last evening. Even though it was my daughter's party, for her business, I had to plow all the asphalt, shovel the walks, steal some firewood from the glue factory, etc. - normal party preparations. This morning, the snow's nearly gone, except where I plowed it into piles. If I'd just watched football all day yesterday., it'd all be gone. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Just saw a Power-Trac at the local McDonalds. I figure it must be the owners. Did a nice job of clearing out the parking lot so I pulled into write down the make/model. Looks like a neat tractor.

Is the blade much good at clearing snow? Doesn't seem like the snow would roll off it very well as it isn't round, but just a bent plate.

Welcome to TBN! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Blade works well on our PT425. The power angle and tilt combined with the FEL arms to lift it make a really good snow removal machine.

welcome to TBN and good luck with your investigation for the best snowplow possible

I have the 60 inch blade on my 425 and it has performed very well. As others have stated, the power angle and tilt function allow you to lift or push. I have had no problems with spinout pushing some very heavy snow and I use the turf tires. PowerTrac has been one of the best choices I have made and I have owned a number of tractors.
