Well... I'm leaning towards the Gearmore D20 small tractor PHD ( www.gearmore.com ). It retails for under $500 with auger here in So. Cal. My research indicates that the Gearmore D20 is made by Vassar Farm Equipment ( www.vassarfarmequip.com ), as Gearmore is a distributor here in Chino, CA. I assume this small/short PHD is of equal quality to other low-end pint size PHD's. Any feedback on that assumption?
PS: They appear to have a nice medium duty rotary mower as well , with hefty chain gaurds.
