My elderly father recently bought an older L2650 with a MMM. After purchase we realized the check chains on the 3PH that control sway of implements attached to the 3PH had been removed by a previous owner. There is a bracket for the MMM bolted to one of the arms so perhaps the chains were removed because of this??? I checked with the local dealer and they want over $100/side for new chains! Seems pricey to me. Anyone have any experience with this or know of a place to buy these used? Or make your own? Thanks for any advice.

I bought an after-market pair for my B2150 for around $20.00 each I think from Agri-Supply. The trick is matching the limits, left and right, and getting the appropriate fittings on each end. Mine matched perfectly and were heavier-duty than the ones that came on the tractor.
If you're interested, I saved the ones I bought when I traded the tractor for a new B2630, which has a slide with pins. If you want to measure the openings in the clevis end, the required length, and the size of the hole in the lift arm, I'd be interested in selling them to you.
