I once saw a newbie with his hand in the chamber of a NH baler and between the newly-sharpened knife and machine. His said it was OK since the tractor was off.
I explained that the tractor could roll forward two inches, kick the flywheel on the baler and alter his ability to eat one of those "two-hander" sandwiches. That's if he didn't bleed to death before he could get help.
He was on a slope as well.
