Calles for 1.19 gallons, but after draining completely, and putting in 4qts, it looks over the red dot in the sight glass. So I didn't put in the other quart but it makes no sense. Any experience with this? Also, I have not run it after filling, maybe it will go down?

You do realize that there’s 4qts in a gallon? And yep, it might need a little bit of driving to settle the oil. However, you only need to add .19 of a gallon, or 2/3s of a quart if you got the old oil completely out. Probably there’s some residual…
Thanks, yes, I was expecting to need to add the 2/3's of a quart and then saw that it was already full. It was confusing because i even left the drain plugs out over night to make sue it all drained out. The capacity is in the manual at 1.19 gal but sometimes "drain and fills", which was not listed, are less because of residual. I will check it again after running it.
