thanks for the info,sounds like unless the previous owner had one installed it is not there.i looked under dash and did not see one so most likly there is none.no problem i can install the one i took of my tahoe after done healing up.

I guess I was assuming you were talking a new truck and the brake controller was listed as a option on the window sticker. Now the way I read it you bought a used truck so you are going to be stuck putting in a aftermarket unit like you say you are going to do. Well, maybe on your next truck you will have the opportunity to have a factory installed unit.
