chevron\'s Recommendation on Coolant (BX)
I e-mailed Chevron and asked what They had for a BX.
Attached is what they sent me.
I gave them the specs quoted in the manual (J1034,J814C),
They told me this meets J1034 and that J814C is only a publication.

ATSM D 3306 is a standard for Automotive light duty antifreeze, J 1034 is an SAE recommended practice for engine coolant concentrate, ethylene glycol based for use in light duty trucks or automobiles. J 814 is a report and not a specification. For a diesel engine I would recommend the Delo ELC it does meet the specifications of J 1034.
