Chevy Truck and Trailer

I have been putting the finishing touches on my boy's 1971 Chevy C/50. This last week I hooked up the brake controller and trailer. Then tried it out with the tractor loaded on it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I forgot to mention that he is only 7. But it is easier to justify the expenses if I tell the wife that it's for him. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Everything worked out good. My top cruising speed is about 65 MPH.

His last day of first grade he begged me to take him to school in the truck but I had to work. So my dad who is retired volunteered and he said Luke was shaking he was so excited. My dad also got a big kick out of it.

Thanks for all of the nice comments. It may get a work out this weekend. We are planning on driving it to Indiana (180 miles) to help my dad this weekend and then drive back. (another 180) with no AC.
