Thank you, if I used plywood I would be done sooner, but the cedar will hopefully help with bugs and such too, nice wood to work with.

I went back and forth on the window, this one can open all the way down to provide maximum air if necessary - for hot summers. There will be 1x1" cage behind the window to keep them ladies safe.

1x1....??? Wouldn't that still allow a pretty decent sized snake? I think I would 1/2x 1/2 would be better....but I have no clue, gut feeling is all.

Nice looking coop!

PS - my wife and I call it "commissioning"...the garage, the laundry, the new car. Haha!!!
