I also would recommend a simpson duravent chimney. I installed one about two years ago after I removed my ZC fireplace and put in a jotul wood stove. I went through the wall ant then up the side of the house. I boxed it in and insulated it to help keep the pipe warmer. I haven't had any problems and really like how simple and easy it was to install. It was something that I was able to do myself. I could never have done a masonry chimney on my own.
