And where exactly is the savings. Not being passed/offered to me. What I was looking at cost as much as one (deer stand) made in US a year ago. Someone's pocketing a few $$$. Not so sure it has anything to do with providing customers with cheaper products.

Cheaper quality products...yes. More $$$$$$$$$$$$ in the CEO's pocket? Definitely!

I used to make my living as a CADD designer and I would spec Hewlett-Packard products no questions asked. Then Carly Fiorina became CEO and wrecked the company. Now H-P makes a lot of junk that earns my "Just say NO to Chinese made crap!" bad housekeeping award.

The corporate executives are so concerned about getting as much out of the company to line their pockets that they don't care about the company, its reputation, workers and customers.

gbick,

When Sam Walton was alive and Walmart was a "rural" store, I used to love it. They went out of their way to "Buy American" back then. Not any more, for sure.

As far as tools and chinise made crap, my millwuake brand 14" cut off saw states it is proudly made in tiawan, ROC.

Where do you get American made products?

I think you would have to call Buy American Customer service,,, (In India) to find the answer to that question.
