Buying Advice China to Oz with luv?

/ China to Oz with luv? #11
I have not imported a tractor but I have dealt with a Adrian Dang from china who sells tractors and machinery. I have always found him to be 100% honest and always willing to go the extra yard to keep you happy.
You can contact him at runshine@runshine.com.cn. or here https://www.facebook.com/wfrunshine

I still would not personally self import a tractor but if you are determined to do it you need to at least work with an honest dealer like Adrian

Ah, I hoped there was someone out there with some experience of dealing with China.

Zonta223, could you provide a little more detail of your experiences/s with Adrian Dang, seeing that it wasn't a tractor you purchased. Good to hear your endorsement of his honesty... first name in China I've seen put forward.

He seems to work for another tractor machinery manufacturer. Even if he could help in supplying a Dongfeng/East Wind, would he not therefore be acting as an agent/intermediary?

I would first contact Adrian and ask him if he can supply what you want and at what price. Not much use going into a long history if he cannot supply what you want....Good luck

Hi - I have imported a Jinma tractor some 5 years ago and have had no issues with it,
I have 2 contacts in China who have assisted me in the purchase of numerous products - they also do quality control checks on the goods prior to shipping.
If you would like me to put you in contact with them let me know.
Regards,
Wayne

Well, from the responses so far, few if any Aussies have directly imported a Chinese tractor, or they just don稚 want to talk about it.

So, I知 now looking for anyone, anywhere around the world, who has successfully imported a tractor from China and still has the contacts over there.

I noticed in another thread on here, DFAM, who says he works for Dongfeng, believes the major Chinese tractor makers are no longer selling directly to individuals. If so, that would appear to put another link in the chain of profit-takers on the deal.

I致e covered-off most of the major 喪ed tape issues down here, but my problem lies at the other end who do you deal with, who can you trust, from where do you purchase?

I致e confirmed that the bureaucratic side of the process is surprisingly simple no import approval required, no emission regulations apply to farm tractors, no steam cleaning necessary with a new unit and no visual inspection to obtain road registration.

Any wood used for packing the container does have to be stamped in accordance with agreed international quarantine standards I壇 be looking to the customs agent for guidance on that.

Surely, someone has some good news they can share with me on this issue.

That is very true Rich, freight can be expensive, and he would still have to deal with customs to Australia. It probably is in his better interest to import himself.

Hi Keno, nice to meet you again. I made a telephone call you one year ago intend to sell something to you. I really envy that you can be the advertiser on TBN, which is impossible for me a Chinese guys. hahaha:)

It seems you didn't visit TBN very often.
