Chinese bulldozer

Yes it looks very similar to bobs photo but without the backhoe attachment. Can somebody tell me where I would add hydraulic fluid.

Hydraulic oil is normally carried in the rear section of the right saddlebag, and the filler cap should be to the rear of your right elbow as you are sitting in the operators seat. However, there have been different configurations on the older models manufactured by Guilin. Current production models are manufactured by Yuchai - no matter what anyone else says. The dozer model and serial number is stamped on the top left front of the ROPS as you are sitting in the operators seat. Greg is correct on the engine tags.
What kind of hydraulic oil are you going to add?
I have electronic versions of owners and engine manuals I can send, but need to know what engine you have.

Bob, thanks so much for all your help and information. I am going to check the tractor tomorrow for name plates and let you know what I find.

OK I finallly had a chance to search over the tractor. The only label I could find on the ROPS was a yellow Warning sticker on the front left post that just listed all the warnings about not to operate this equipment without reading the operators manual first. At the bottom of the sticker was this:
E2NN-16A901-AA

On the left side of the engine I found a silver plate that says: 2I24 underneath this it has these numbers: 841000 1986 5

I could not find a place to add hydraulic fluid by my left elbow, still not sure where to add it, or what kind to add? Any ideas? I am sure hoping I can get an operators manual somewhere, this is my first tractor and I want to be sure I am doing the right thing. Thanks everyone for any help on this.

Refer to my previous post and you will see RIGHT elbow. Look on top where the ROPS attaches to the saddlebag. Pictures would also be a huge help. If anything, trace the large hose from the hydraulic pump back to the reservoir.

For hydraulic oil, I recommend Hydraulic Oil ISO 32 AW or
Hydraulic Oil ISO 46 AW for continuous use over 85 degrees F ambient. Most brands will perform satisfactory provided they meet those specs.

Is your engine a two or three cylinder? The numbers you gave suggest the engine was built in May 1986 but that is just speculation on my part. Greg probably can decipher them better than I. The E2NN-16A901-AA on the sticker, I believe, Is the sticker's part number, especially if they are small numbers. The serial number will be stamped in the steel, and should also be included in the bill of sale.

I stated previously that I could email you the YCT 306 operators and parts manuals. Some parts of the manuals may be useful to you, and you can't beat the price. If you will PM me your email addy I'll shoot them off to you asap.
