Well, if something causes cancer here it probably causes cancer there too. The heater burns very clean as tested on you tube with emission and CO2 analyzers. The heater is CA legal as it would not ship to CA if it was banned

I bought one these diesel VEVOR for a tractor cab I was going to construct but have put that project on hold. Now I'm going to use it to heat my 8x10 ft greenhouse this next spring which is now surrounded by about 5 ft of snow due to roof snow falling to the sides. Figure about mid May I'll start warming up the soil in my DIY raised bed setup. Sunlight will help but in a valley surrounded by snow capped mountains and small glaciers, it's late June before it stays warm enough for plant growth.

There is/was a lot of chatter about these heaters on the Toyota Tacoma interest forums. In the camping thread.

First, Vevor doesn't make anything. Vevor is just a chinese amazon. Don't think you will be getting any replacement parts for one of these units.

Second, there are reputable makers of these units from europe. but the units cost about $1000.
build quality, materials and life expectancy are the value drivers.

Third, when the weather turns wintry cold, the burners are unreliable . I'm not sure what is the issue, fuel flow in a tiny burner pump perhaps.

Lastly, I'm not a reference for these things, I just looked into them and read other's reports and stuff. Based on the reading, I didn't purchase one.

I actually have one that I used in my SxS last winter.

My nephew was doing some logging by himself last year so one of my brothers or myself would go up in the woods to keep him company and just in case. The heater would keep that cab area nice and toasty warm even with a window open .
I never got the controller really figured out but it was working and I could raise and lower the output.

I used 4 flexible ducts to distribute the heat, two up to each side of the windshield
and 2 down to the footwells on each side.

I read that if the burner gives trouble put a hotter glow plug in it... I think these are common plugs like we used in RC nitro airplanes that come in various heat ranges. I had no trouble with mine last winter... turned it on once this summer to keep the fuel flowing and looking forward to heating my little hobby shop that is 12 x 24. ( and burning some waste oil )

So heaters fuel pump gave up the ghost when I started the heater back up this winter...after working flawlessly last year. I had read about this so I ordered the cheapest replacement pump I found = $10 at Walmart. It's in and after a little priming and rough burning, I added seafoam and more clean diesel ( the mix in the tank was possibly too much motor oil %wise ) it has cleared itself out and back to running smooth. I would like a better (hotter) glow plug but I don't want to take the thing apart and the plug looks to be deep inside.
Anyway - it is back up and running. Cold rainy days coming too.

Like he said you could buy 10 of these to equal the cost of the heater he's recommending. That's a lot of heaters!
