Prices too good to be true, free shipping etc. Anybody have any experience with these?

I'd gladly buy a used, brand name unit, but i cant find any locally for even double the price of the Chineseium units, let alone delivered to my door.

Are you sure that Kubota has enough hydraulics to drive one? Most take 12-15Gpm flow on the low side. 20+ is recommended. A PTO driven auger is about a quarter of the price for even kit prices of a hydraulic unit.

Mine is an M59. Flow is good but not considered High Flow by skidsteer standards. Low flow attachments are reportedly doable.

I am interested if any folks have real world input into these. A few things I have noted / wondered.
What is the output on the motor? Standard is 2" round, 2-9/16" round, and 2" hex.
How strong are the augers? A good example is Danuser who offers a light weight auger for their 3pt diggers and a heavier auger for the hydraulic diggers.
Some of the augers appear to not have replaceable cutting edges. Are the ones who have replaceable cutting edges a standard edge?

Good things to consider. The descriptions are often vaguely written in chinese, then translated by the one guy in the factory who speaks the best Engrish.

Mr M59 has a McMillan hydraulic auger and done impressive work. Maybe he will add his opinion. He added a Danuser stump plane to take out large stumps in and around multiple underground utility lines. I wouldn’t buy an auger that didn’t list its torque spec.

See many advantages compared to my 3pt auger. It’s for sale.

See many of cheap augers often with multiple bits listed but haven’t talked to anyone that has used one. Never seen a used one even at auction. Diffidently don’t want a motor to grenade and put shrapnel into the tractors’ hydraulic system.

I’m kind of leaning toward the Digga augers with the halo system. Save time and labor. Wife would appreciate that option. Need a good job to justify the expense. Have done my miles of fencing already. Bought three commercial 25’ square tubing light poles yesterday. One for a flag, one for purple Martin's houses and one? Need good concrete bases.
