The new sub-compact tractor is gonna be marketed under the name of DONGFENG. DFAM is an abbreviated name for our company. Compared with old traditional Chinese tractor, this one is meant to be better.

BTW, the legendary, I mean Lenovo, is quite successful now, at least in China.

Lenovo did not cease production, and the appearance and functionality did not change. I have several.

I think I may not be speaking clearly. I meant that not ceasing production and not changing the appearance likely helped the transition. So far as I know, Lenovo is competitive in NA, but Lenovo is all our company uses because IBM manages our IT, so I may have a distorted view of the popularity of Lenovo.

Hi,

as I am just looking for a Tractor or SCUT from Dongfeng (Buying Advice Buying Advice - DongFeng 254, 254G2 or 224G3), I would like to bring back the Topic to that new chinese CUT. I cannot find any viable Information about that new model. I have seen it advertised as the DF-204Y and DF-254Y, but these are listed as "not in production any more" on the DFAM Website. On the other Hand, the DFAM Website in other languages still show these models as beeing in production and sold. On the english version, the new model is listed as "new G3 series" with only one model DF-224G3 listed. The model comes with manual Transmission or with an optional HST. So as the OP obviously is working for DongFeng I would like to ask the following questions:

what is the new product range for the new compact tractor?
What is the difference between the "Y" and the "G3" models?
Is the "Y" range in production or not?
why is the G3 series only listed with one model (224G3)?
is the df-204Y in reality a DF-224G3?
When will the belly mower be ready for entering the market?
how many horsepowers does the 224G3 really have? It is advertised with 22HP, whereas it is sold as a 20hp Maschine in Australia (East Wind G20 compact tractor).
