Inspired, congratulations on your purchase. You'll find that you purchased a strong tractor, I've been very happy with mine after the initial few problems that were strictly dealer related. As to the backhoe, your dealer was right, you don't want a BH without the sub-frame. My dealer had the sub-frame constructed for the BH as part of my original purchase. I am not sure if they make the BHs with sub-frames as a standard. I think they all have to be locally manufactured. As to cost, the BH was about $2900 and the sub-frame construction was $800.
