Are these the Chinese tractors that you sent me a private message on. )</font>
I only check these boards randomly, email is better for me. If you don't mind, use another PM to send me your email address. We can pick up this discussion from there.

Schmalts in all cases parts may not be an easy issue for all makes. About 6 years back we purchased a new 25HP 4WD Chinese made tractor from Quality Farm and Fleet. That was just before they went out of business. For the next 5 years we scrambled to find whatever parts that we needed. We were fortunate to find a guy in Canada and also a fellow in Ohio that kept us going. But it was never a situation where you might walk into a dealer and say give me one of these.

We finally sold that tractor, not because it wasn't made well, but because we just plain got tired of constantly searching for whatever we needed.

I'll take one of the big 3 any day of the year now. It's a lot easier to hunt up parts for our New Holland.

There are quite a few Jinma parts dealers in the US. Jinma has been around a long time and it's going anywhere anytime soon.

I own a John Deere lawn tractor. It's an expensive model not sold at Home Depot and I love it. I also own a Jinma compact tractor.

Recently I needed parts for my Jinma. I went to Jinmaparts.com and ordered them. They were on my front steps three days later.

I broke the throttle on my John Deere so, I ordered that and some brake parts via the John Deere website. They handed the order to a local company called Ridgeway. I placed the order via internet but have since then have had to fax the order to the local dealer (20 miles away) twice! I placed the John Deere parts order on 11/15/04 and still have not received any of the parts!

Jinma 3 days
John Deere 2 months.

The Chinese parts arguement doesn't work anymore for me folks.

If any of you doubt me, I'd be happy to fax to you a copy of the JD invoice.

To those people who need to walk in the door and say give me one these. Those days are over in most of the business world. I was equipment manager for a large firm. At one time we had half million dollars, plus in part in our inventory and then came UPS, Federal Express and etc. We found it was much cheaper to pay the freight to get our customer parts than the inventory cost. I find this true in lots of business today. I had a Jima in my yard and broken the tail lite assemby. I came in early one morning and place a order with Jimaparts.com and the next after noon I had the assembly. Can't get much better than that.

If you have a good parts source whether it's a local guy or via the Internet then I don't see a big problem for you. In our case the manufacturer name was Shenniu I believe located in Heubi, China if our memory serves us right and they just weren't connected period.

We can't speak Chinese they can't speak English and at the time we were not importing product into the US so we finally bailed on the little tractor. Still we worked it hard for 5 years. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Here is a picture of it headed down the road for the very last time.

Jinmaparts.com at Deljen World is where I bought my tractor. Great dealer. their motto.." sudden and unexpected service" and they have lived up to it for me so far. They sell Jinma and Mahindra and make their own brand of loader and backhoe..SPIRIT...they are built very well.... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif...John

PineRidge,
This is a little late for you since you don't have the Shennui, but maybe someone else can benefit. I've had good luck getting anything I've needed for my Shennui from Jim's Farm Equipt. in Gallipolis,OH. The Shennui is from the Hubei providence.
