Buying Advice Chinese Tractors

   / Chinese Tractors #11
I've a JM 354 Jinma for 6 yrs. Been a good tractor.Jinma Parts are phone order and reasonable priced. No dealer support for me locally though, but, don't need it in my case. Are you mechanically able? Any tractor will need work done to it. Whether Name brand or Chinese. The advice for a big dealer support is something you'll want to pay attention to if you can't or won't do your own maitenance. bjr

Try the local JD dealer
I am thinking of buying a new Chinese Tractor as they seem to be better value for dollar than the established Western makes.
Are there owners here that would / would not recommend them on personal experience? What are the better brands I should be looking at, or alternatively, avoiding.
Thanks, Ned

Nedkelly120, I have a 2008 NorTrac 254 / FEL, Ag and Turf tires. I just finished a 600 ' driveway with it, for a neighbor. I shut it off today with 507 hours. I have done all the maintenance just about as the manual's suggested time intervals. It has done a great job, with minimal isues. I am looking at a 354 Jinma for my next tractor. The two together will do everything I'll need to do. Plus what ever my neighbors can think of!!
