As my username would suggest, I need a compact or subcompact tractor that will mow lawns, blow snow, tow a trailer, have a loader, and a miriad of other tasks that may or may not ryme with O.
In the subcompacts it's between the Kubota BX 24, JD 2305, Cubcadet sc2400, and MF GCseries tractors. In the compacts it would be Kubota B2320, JD2320 or 2520, or MF 1500 series 1523.
I would like to know what tractor would best suit my needs. I have about 3 acres of wooded land that I would like to clear slowly,(fairly level land ).
Last year we had about 20 ft. of snow, and are expecting even more this year!
I only have about 1\2 an acre to mow right now, but will be expanding on that in future.
We also want to put in a decent sized garden, about 20x50 ft. or so, so a tiller would be nice too.
i have a friend that has a Kubota 30hp, not sure which model though, but it comes with a tiller, loader, grader, rear mower, counterweight, cabin, 2 sets of tires and wheels, and I believe it has some other attachments too, and it has about 950 hrs on it. He's asking 20,000 for everything, he used it in his landscaping business, and has now outgrown it. It seems to be in pretty good shape, and I hear that Kubotas are a good brand.
I would like to hear first hand from owner\operators like yourselves and get some unbiased info.
thanks for any help you can offer.
