chip resetter

some companies use ink cartridges that have a chip inside, that will tell the printer its empty, when its not: you can pick up a chip resetter for $10-15: and use the cartridges for a lot more prints: epson is one that does this: i took brand new cartridges out of a printer and put them in another, they wouldn't print, the cartridge thought it was out of ink..this should solve that problem.

so where do you get a chip resetter? i think this is the kind of printer my son took to college and you know who will end up paying for ink.

you can buy the resetter at Staples, on ebay or by mail order: all end up costing about the same..$10-14.. they also have them for HP printers, so i am told..
for those that want to refill their cartridges, this is the only way to do that with the epsons that use the chip to tell the computer its out of ink..
