Chipper chipper attachment

I bought the Jinma 6 as well and have been happy with it. Everything torqued ok when I checked all the bolts/nuts. Have chipped several yards worth of chips that are laying around in the woods. Mine was about $1500 after shipping.

Another chipper/shredder you might look at is the Bear Cat PTO. I've had one for a couple of years and it does a great job. I was looking for the shredder feature for general cleanup as well as chipping. Take a look at www.bearcatproducts.com . /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I've been looking for a PTO chipper and found one that interests me, in your "backyard". http://www.salsco.com/products.htm is in Chesire, CT.

They list quite a few options and I'd like to hear from someone tha actually is using one.

In my case, I decided to rent a chipper - Vermier with 24 hp motor and automatic feed. Cost me $100 / day plus tax. We worked really hard for a day and did all we had down.

Renting was a pretty good option for me.
