Save your money and drive your 755 through the small gaps. They will widen out and the wife will stop planting there eventually. Cut the branches off that are hanging to low.

I hope my wife never reads this post. She thinks I "needed" an X739!!!!!

I agree with Deere Dude, why spend more money and create more work? I do have a J46 trimmer mower with front caster wheels and bagger, it does okay but for the most part I am too lazy to use it. Bought it thinking I would need it at home but in reality the x749 trims close enough for me. Years ago when buying the new mowers a poster here predicted this outcome, he was right.

The voices of sanity have prevailed. I am going to save my money. As for the 400 series proponents, if I had one of those, I wouldn't need my 755 any more, and I am not about to get rid of that. It has been too good to me for too long now....
