I'm not losing sleep. Just a minor annoyance. The nicks are more on the functional things rather than appearance things, like where the outrigger foot plates contact other parts. Really no big deal. A little touch up.

Need to figure out what RPMs to use for what tasks, etc.

And he only charged me about half the delivery fee, gave me a digital copy of the service ad parts manuals and me some discounts on other things, so I cant gripe too loud.

He's a very small operation and only had one of this model on the lot.

Loader work I find myself using 2000rpms, anything on the PTO is 2500rpms, that's about it.. I'm sure your manuals will help with that..

What if?

What if you get struck by lightning?
What if you get killed in a bank robbery?
What if the plane you are in crashes?

What if covers a LOT of things that aren't going to happen to MOST people.

when I was young I had no insurance claims. the older I get...hail on the car, water in the house (last week), got sued by someone that stopped THINKING my dog was gonna run into the road, they got rear ended and sued ME...insurance paid them 7k plus lawyers, depositions, etc. Totaled a car once, not my fault.

Insurance is a gamble - you're betting you'll use it, they're betting you won't.

Used my health insurance just last week...LOL

Now that I actually do have enough money in the bank to replace the big stuff if it was destroyed.....I sure as heck don't want to spend it that way! I have many other more enjoyable uses for that money than rebuilding my house out of my own pocket.

Poor folks are notorious for not being insured; they can't afford the premiums and/or choose to use the money for other things, and then they just hope nothing happens or that the government will step in to help if it does. Believe me I sympathize and can also empathize, but it's a heck of a way to live. Rich folks are always insured to the hilt.

But hey, I'm a strong believer that folks should do whatever they want (as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else). Odds are I'll never need that tractor insurance but I'm glad it's there, especially with tractor theft on the rise. No desire to pay for my tractor twice. YMMV
