If you promise to not tell my wife, I'll show you what I got her for Christmas. No lights though.

Local man and his wife make these. Carved from a solid piece of wood. He does the carving and she paints them. They make a different one each Christmas. Been making them for 25 years. This year they made 75. Only takes them 5 hours including the painting time. I told them it would take me more than 5 hours to pick out the piece of wood. The detail is magnificent. They've got several in their house that are 3ft tall. Mostly Native American.

Thanks Mike. And it was easier than trying to light up the Jeep and get it fastened up there!!!!

Put solar powered lights on the "Holzmiete" [beehive-shaped woodpile] by drilling a hole in a piece of wood to hold the solar cell/battery pack. Looped a string around the top to hold them.

Took the lights off the Schramm wheels yesterday and squeezed it into the lawn mower shed. I'll take the rest off one day.

My lights will stay up. Just turn off the auto on.

We'll hafta revive this thread next year. Sure thought we'd get a lot more response..... Bah Humbug.....
