beautiful! I am having such a hard time getting into the mood this year, with the weather so warm. I will try to decorate something tomorrow. I was out in a tshirt two days ago working in the yard. :-(

Every year little enhancements… the high school and community college students do a great job and usually the new hires are brothers or sisters of those from seasons past.
The mood seems up with lots of little ones coming out for the first time.
Free popcorn and hot cider also popular with any donations going to the food bank…
I do miss the baby farm animals this year… a few of the neighbors arrived horseback to select their trees and had the horses tied to the hitching post.
I forgot the mistletoe this year… lots growing high up on the oak trees.

About 10 years back my brother and sister in law stumbled upon the old Christmas Tree farm with a for sale sign.
They bet the farm so to speak and jumped in feet first with no plans to continue the trees… folks would stop and asked if the farm would be open again and my brother decided why not as there were still scattered trees growing around the place and so it came to be…
Mom loved helping out and always found something needing tending.
