Christmas on the Farm - Lets See Your Pics

500 trees yesterday which is about 2400 people visiting the farm as most buyers are kids and parents plus many have grandparents in tow.

Some just come out to make holiday pictures so not every visit equates to a sale...

The guys did really well on tips which is never solicited and usually happens after the tree is secured to the vehicle...

2 cam straps do the job with each a wrap around the trunk and mostly going over the roof and inside the car entering between the door and body at the weatherstrip gap...

Not sure if this counts...

Dec '22, we were deep into building the house, walls up, working on the roof, trying to get it into the dry...fighting cold winter the whole time.

We were also into our 3rd year living in a 32' 5th wheel while clearing land and starting the house build...and the Covid nonsense happened sometime in there too!

Wife was away buying more building supplies...

Grabbed a 16' step ladder and 3 rolls of Walmart Christmas lights. That's a work light on top.

She broke into tears when she got home, after finally seeing some vestage of Christmas at "Windy Hill".

@BackRoad That's a gold star inspiration and I'm glad your wife liked it!

All the best,

Peter

We live in an old farm house, which is not a working farm anymore, unless you count owning chickens. :D I seriously toyed with the idea of buying the adjacent lot, and turning it into a Christmas tree farm, but neither time or spousal support were on my side, in that endeavor

So, now I settle for some lights on bushes, a little different each year. I believe these two photos were 2014 and 2016. This year's lights are probably better, but I guess my interest in taking new photos each year has diminished.
