chrome tractor wheels

Does anyone know of a vendor for these?
I have seen them on pulling tractors, do not know if they just had standard wheels chromed or if there is an actual source for them

I would think pulling tractors would be running aluminum wheels..... polished. I would check with any custom wheel manufacturer, as long as you can give them bolt pattern, offset, etc.

I agree. Chroming does on bad thing, Hydrogen Embrittlement, which makes them brittle.

Polished Aluminum would be pricey I am sure.

Hydrogen embrittlement can be severe on some steels. Some plating shops have stress relief ovens. Stress relief will eliminate the Hydrogen embrittlement if done properly and just after the plating. I can't remember the numbers, but it's like 400 F for 2 hours within 30 minutes of plating. A shop that does it will know for sure.
